Für die Landwirtschaft der Zukunft hat Künstliche Intelligenz zum Beispiel für den Einsatz von Feldrobotik einen hohen Stellenwert. Wir freuen uns, dass das DFKI-Niedersachsen-Labor im Agrotech Valley vertreten ist und mit uns in verschiedenen Projekten forscht. Im Mai 2022 wird sich entscheiden, ob aus dem Labor ein fester DFKI-Standort wird. Verantwortlich für die bisherige Entwicklung des Labors ist Joachim Hertzberg, Informatikprofessor der Universität Osnabrück. Ihm wurde 2021 die verantwortungsvolle Aufgabe geben, das Niedersachsen-Labor des @DFKI weiter anzuschieben. Der mögliche DFKI-Standort wäre dann das erste außeruniversitäre Forschungszentrum in Osnabrück. Ende 2022 ist der Einzug in das Coppenrath Innovation Centre in dem dann restaurierten Ringlockschuppen geplant.
Automated Planning and Scheduling is a central research area in AI, where the task is to choose and arrange actions in order to achieve some goal. European research has been making strong contributions to this area since the inception of the field.
AIPlan4EU is a project that will leverage the excellent research that Europe has founded and constructed by focusing on AI planning technology and bringing it to innovators and practitioners.
Open call #2 for use-cases provides equity-free funding to attract and select the most motivated external partners. The objective is simple: identify real-world AI planning use-cases that will have the chance to be developed and implemented in the following steps of the AIPlan4EU project.
Applications for open call #2 for use-cases are now ongoing, and the project is looking for individuals and companies that can provide real-world AI Planning use-cases.
European individuals and companies are invited to apply at F6S until 10 February 22, 17h00 CET!
